Established in 2021, Maputo National Park safeguards a remarkable diversity of incredible marine and terrestrial ecosystems. These habitats provide refuge for a variety of iconic wildlife, including turtles, dolphins, whales, elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and many others. In July 2025, the park was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
