Milestones
2016

In March 2016, Wings for Conservation is registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce, as a foundation for nature conservation activities.
2019

Purchase of our second aircraft, a Cessna 172.

Aircraft flies 186 hours, covering 27,000 kilometers.

The process for the creation of Zah-Soo National Park is started.
2017
-
Granted non-profit status in the Netherlands (ANBI).

Purchase of our first aircraft.

Signature of a three year MOU with the Chadian Government.
2020

Aircraft flies 198 hours, covering 28,000 kilometers.

Renewal of the MOU with the Chadian Government for five years until 2025.
2018

Arrival and field deployment of our aircraft in Chad.

Aircraft flies 262 hours of conservation missions in the first year, covering 36,000 kilometers.
2021

Aircraft flies 273 hours, covering 41,000 kilometers.

Discovery of a new giraffe population in central Chad.

Recording of the largest group of Dama gazelles in the wild in several decades.
